I see the same around 4-7 people for brief periods everyday, my mom and people I see at work. Only one who I can call a friend and have good conversations with. There was a lot more camaraderie at my previous location, talking for hours, getting to know each other. So without that, my 10-12 hour shifts are pretty lonely.

On the weekends, I go to car shows, yoga, something out in nature, or just walk around town. In the past and where I used to live, people (including attractive girls) always came up and talked to me, or said hi, or bare minimum smiled. That has stopped entirely. I feel like an invisible NPC now.

It seems like I’ve gotten lonelier and more isolated every year and with each turn in life. I’m desperate to travel and maybe move again, just to see if I can get back to the progress I made in my early 20s. But there’s all this crap in the way, my life is so frozen and I need some legit good luck.
