The original computer IBM 7094. Almost size of an entire room with tiny punch cards for input.

what's even crazier is that despite all this progress, so much legacy software still lives on in critical systems today. Banks, airports, government infrastructure tons of it still runs on decades old code because it's so deeply embedded and stable
