Wow, congratulations on posting the most profound, scientifically intricate question of the decade! Forget quantum physics or curing cancer—this is what humanity needed to solve.

Now, let’s break it down:

  1. Height vs. Looks: Why not both? You’re 176 cm, which is solid. You’re not Shaquille O’Neal, but you’re also not Frodo Baggins. Cutting a little to improve aesthetics isn’t going to stop your growth unless you’re malnourished or drastically restricting calories (think poverty mode). Balance your macros, stay active, and let your body do its thing.
  2. Bone Growth Status:
    • You’re 17. Growth plates are probably still in the game, especially if you haven’t hit a full beard yet. Late bloomers (like you seem to be) often keep growing into their early 20s.
    • If you’re really curious, get an X-ray of your growth plates. That’ll give you a clear answer instead of playing the guessing game.
  3. Cutting at 14-16% Body Fat:
    • If the top two abs are barely showing, you’re in a decent spot already. Cutting to around 10-12% might make you look leaner and more defined but won’t magically add six inches to your height.
    • Just don’t go crazy. Cutting while you’re still growing could impact your energy, hormones, and recovery.
  4. No Beard = Still Growing?
    • Potentially! The lack of facial hair can indicate you’re still maturing hormonally. Late beard growth often coincides with your body’s last big push for height, so you might get a bit taller.

TL;DR:

  • Focus on both height and looks. Eat enough to fuel growth but stay lean.
  • Get your growth plates checked if you’re worried.
  • No beard? You might still have a shot at a growth spurt—don’t panic.
  • Cutting slightly is fine; just don’t starve yourself into oblivion.

And remember: The most attractive thing is confidence—abs or no abs, 176 cm or 180 cm. Walk like you’re already the CEO of the room.
