Constipation, some people also complained about it also on the subreddit there was a study apparently it can freeze your intestines or something. I do have phenibut but can't use everyday unfortunately.

Would it be possible to get your hands on sodium valproate/valproic acid? Those are HDACi as well, but you'd have to take a somewhat higher dose of it to mimic vorinostats' effects, but it should work.

Indiamart might be a start. Or, you could use this source, which I got from another user who bought successfully from them. I was gonna purchase it myself, but for other reasons, actually. Sodium valproate/valproic acid is great for hair growth, when applied topically.
