Satie is one of the best composers ever. If you disagree you're an uncultured philistine not acquainted with the fine arts.

I’m not that well versed on music in general, what’re some of your most recommended composers?

Debussy is too overplayed for me to appreciate him. i agree that in terms of composition he is miles better but i grew up having to go to orchestras multiple times a month so ive heard every one of his fucking songs a 1000 times.

Have you heard of "Khamma" by Debussy? How about epigraphes antiques or the images oubliees?

You should listen to Scriabin's music. Nothing else comes close to making me feel like I am floating in a celestial realm of beautiful stars and an otherworldly female with blue eyes is sucking my dick. :feelsahh:

I'll link the music for you.

The poem of ecstasy is my favourite piece of music at the moment.

And here is debussy's epigraphes antiques. Pretty good music imo.

The third piece in this set portrays the most deepest part of the human psyche, you can literally feel that mixed emotion of anxiety and tension as you're about seduce a woman. This is what the piece is about, translating to "i hope i get lucky tonight".

It's quite a complex piece of music to understand upon the first listen. If you listen to it a few more times, the themes start to sound more relevant and the music will make sense to you, cause I reckon this is one of the most cohesive symphonic work ever written. Let me know what you think of the piece though.
