One of the biggest regrets I will always have was joining a cram school

I spent my entire teenage years in a cram school, where my days were filled with back-to-back classes from 8 AM to 6 PM, with only a lunch break and a short evening snack break. There were no sports or extracurricular activitiesโ€”our school didnโ€™t even have an open playground. My high school experience was confined to the second floor of a small, air-conditioned building, focusing solely on weekly tests and solving problems beyond my grade level. And they used to give us so much home work that I was exhausted and burned out everyday

I was constantly unhappy there, with no friends or anyone to talk to. The environment made me socially withdrawn and introverted. When COVID hit, the one routine I had was disrupted and my life started spiraling. That being said, the school did benefit me in some ways. The intense academics and cutthroat competition helped me secure a place at one of the top universities that I am in right now. It also instilled a strong sense of perseverance and determination. Still I canโ€™t help but feel like I missed out on a lot of important life experiences during those years. @Bruce Wayne78 @mayo mogger @GigaStacySexual

Did you at least get into a top uni and now have good chances to land a high paying job?

Yes I did. I'm doing CS from a top 5 uni in my country. I have already secured a high paying summer internship and if that gets converted into a pre placement offer I will be making good money.

With the way you describe the education system where you live itโ€™s like theyโ€™re more concerned with making their students commit suicide instead of teaching them
