I spent my entire teenage years in a cram school, where my days were filled with back-to-back classes from 8 AM to 6 PM, with only a lunch break and a short evening snack break. There were no sports or extracurricular activitiesβour school didnβt even have an open playground. My high school experience was confined to the second floor of a small, air-conditioned building, focusing solely on weekly tests and solving problems beyond my grade level. And they used to give us so much home work that I was exhausted and burned out everyday
I was constantly unhappy there, with no friends or anyone to talk to. The environment made me socially withdrawn and introverted. When COVID hit, the one routine I had was disrupted and my life started spiraling. That being said, the school did benefit me in some ways. The intense academics and cutthroat competition helped me secure a place at one of the top universities that I am in right now. It also instilled a strong sense of perseverance and determination. Still I canβt help but feel like I missed out on a lot of important life experiences during those years. @Bruce Wayne78 @mayo mogger @GigaStacySexual
