I am eating halwa now.

My father used to make milky carrot halwa when he owned a restaurant back in India.

1 lunch meal cost 40 rupees. It was the most popular restaurant in Hosur when he ran it.

We made a shit tonne of money.

I also sat at the cashier and would help cut the vegetables.

This one is made from roti, apparently. Normally we eat suji halwa. Sometimes carrot halwa as well.

Some of my relatives apparently own a restaurant, I only found out a few weeks ago.

No clue how much they make but it’s on the highway so I assume they make enough.

In Singapore suji means milk biscuits. It's made from Everyday milk powder.
