one week on accutane

I finally started taking accutane since I'm done growing so I'm gonna post and update every once in a while.

(I've had cystic acne for years) (healthmaxxing including a year and a half of raw primal diet did not fix it) (tretinoin improved but did not fix it)

weight: 165lbs (75kg)
dose: 40mg/ed

So far I haven't noticed any difference in my skin. Acne has neither improved nor significantly worsened (a few pimples presumably because I stopped using topical tretinoin). Skin and hair is still oily. Because of this I've been taking double (80mg) to try and speed it up for the past few days. I have not experienced any side effects so far.

I'll try and remember to drop an update every week

Yeah you're right. About a year ago I heightmaxxed with aromasin and peptides and just barely made it to 5'11 before my growth plates fused (from weak 5'10) so I was not about to take a chance closing my growth plates early. Then I wanted to try fixing it naturally by eating healthy.

Accutane does not prematurely close your plates.

Correlation has been found in a small number of cases. Causation is another story. Like I said I barely made it, I didn't want to take a chance.
