I recall having an oneitis on a girl and at that time I met a girl who, some years later, would become my new oneitis (we didn’t actually met I just saw her in the campus). At that time the second girl while cute was simply not good enough for me to get a crush on. I was fixated on the other one it took me 9 years to move on and get a new oneitis.
