I find the more true association is that longer time investment games = significantly higher proportion of NEETs. My friend and I used to really love the original DayZ. Him in particular because it was the closest thing for him the feeling he got from combat in afghanistan. We did marathon sessions, that were only made possible by the fact that he was on holidays and I wasn't working at the time. That only lasted for a summer. Recently trying to find something to fill that hole, we tried to get into Escape From Tarkov. now that is a game I am entirely sure is filled with reddit NEETs. The progression is so slow and constantly busy work that the only way anyone gets anywhere (if you are unaware, EFT is heavily gear based. As a scrub you have almost no chance in a head on fight with high level players, even if you ambush them they will tank your shots turn around and zap you) is if they are grinding that shit out day in day out which you cannot do with a full time job.

Just as stated by @Dope, chads can be everything. But if you really had to chose which game you should play to social max, go for mario kart and just dance 100%. Everyone has atleast a Wii, or know how to play it. Girls will always be down to play just dance and mario kart is the wii game. Sometimes you might want to know how to play properly fifa (in europe, useless in Na) since everyone also has a fifa at his house.
