i never watch anything that is popular at the moment. a lot of normie interest signals to me that it is crap because normies are stupid and have bad taste. sometimes i get exposed to the content when it randomly shows up on youtube or is referenced on social media years later, then i am curious and check it out more on youtube. generally, i only trust media that has already been selected by myself. this is why i continue to rewatch shows from the 60s, 70s, and 80s and sometimes even the 50s that i grew up watching. squid games look like it sucks so much that i won't even bother to check it out if they push the most interesting clip on me. it just looks like a serious version of takeshi's castle. even the memes they generate from the show aren't interesting enough for me to be curious. also the characters are all ugly uninteresting gooks with the same stock personalities. devious old harmless guy. no imagination or originality. and the green tracksuits they wear are very unpleasing to look at. what an ugly show. they've been pushing this korean bullcrap on the west since parasite and kpop. just another avenue of media desensitization to white cultural replacement. anything that isn't 1950s marlboro smoking white men entertainment is crap
