Do you have a desire for children?

I have a desire for them but I also realize that bringing them into a world where they might suffer or even cause the suffering themselves is a depressing thought.

Most people have desires for extremely retarded things naturally, doesn't mean that it's okay to act them out

and the desire for having children becomes 0 once you take a look at mumbai

there's practically 0 arguments against antinatalism, it's mostly just coping boomers who deny antinatalism

But what do I do. I have an urge for intimacy and a LTR. Most women get into a relationship and want to have children. But I don't want that.

How do I find someone like me?

Having kids is called leaving a legacy. JFL at ending your bloodline.

And condemning them to suffering?
Even if you suffer, at least you existed. I'd take that any day. And there's always a bus to catch if you want to cop out.

Would you be happy to exist, if you were living in Gaza. Or if your face was deformed? Or if you were a dwarf. Or if you were tortured your entire life.

The only way I could consider children is to modify their genetics and make them very beautiful and that's a stretch in my mind.

I just hate humans and wish they all got tortured to death

Why would you hate the human for existing when it didn't ask to exist in the first place

I'm not bringing children to these hypothetical places. Also I'm not willing to mate with ugly women. I will prepare anyhow, to have a good looking son. It's already possible, if you know what to do

Even if both parents are attractive, we can't assume that the child will also be attractive. There are tons of examples of this.

We will have to wait to uncover the link between averageness and genetics. Also height, frame, voice, etc.

The only thing you can kinda give your child is some nice features like prominent high zygos, brow ridge, and jawline. But you can't guarantee his averageness will be ideal

Does my child need to be a perfect specimen? I'm not, I have suffered. Yet, I still keep living. I think most, would agree to that point. That's just humanity. I understand, many reasons for antinatalism, but that argument is just bad, IMO. But if you think that, I'm not to judge you.

Beauty is a curse for the many, and a blessing for the few. That's why I'm having a constant debate in my head.

Imo, a little suffering is ideal. For example suffering when you go to the gym is ok. It doesn't last long and gives you a nice body. Let's also say studying. You suffer for a little but you gain knowledge.

Basically if the suffering isn't too much and if the pleasure is decent, having children might be a good, beautiful thing.

But let's say we CRISPRmaxxed all our children and removed genetic diseases. Would that in turn create an ideal society.

Would humans still lust for power and control over others? Would they still kill and steal? Would there still be a beauty hierarchy if everybody had 1/1000 beauty, voice, height, etc.?

Would humans still suffer?
