I was just wondering about maintaining good habits and if anyone has any experience with mouth taping or nasal strips or something similar of the sort

mouth tapes are dumb and dangerous, nasal strips on the other hand look cool and actually work, you dont need them if you have a normal nose but if you have a crooked one, then its a life changer, most of my friends agree

Does mouth tape not promote nose breathing?

it does, but the effect depends on your situation, are you a chronic mouth breather? if yes then it will help a lot, but if you breath from your mouth here and there then there wont be an effect

also Iam not sure of this so dont take it as fact, but once you finish puberty, shifting from mouth breathing to nose breathing isnt going to change your facial structure, the damage will be irreversible, it will be a healthy life style change, but you wont notice any effects in your face or bone structure

I tend to notice I breathe through my mouth alot when sleeping, I often wonder if that is the cause of my slight mandible recession
