I'm starting now, I wonder if it could be as effective as dut without increased sides.

Why not just oral?

Oral can reduce by 70 percent while topical 25 percent. Add them together and you get more dht reduction than dut theoretically. Without blocking type 1 AR-5 which is the main issue with sides concerning dut.

can topical even penetrate deep enough into the skin to reach the hair follicles and block dht? I read somewhere that was the main problem with any topical solution.

There are two studies on there. Check em out.

With both you could get over 90% decrease in both scalp and serum dht. That's madness.
