Oral Minoxidil during Trimax surgery

Anesthesist said i can keep my 10mg oral minoxidil for the operation and don't need to stop

Is that mf dumb or i should trust him ? I wanted to stop 2 weeks prior surgery
I told him it can affect blood pressure he said it's ok they have stuff to monitor my bp

But won't minox cause excess bleeding per-op ?
