It could have some adverse effects on collagen/skin quality but none of the huge concern if you have a solid skincare regimen in place.
The skin quality issue is at the very least something you can battle with an elementary routine but the cardiac side effects from oral minoxidil aren't as simple.

Because I already have dry skin in the face and topical minoxidil dries out your skin and also more acne since I’m acne prone as well. Additionally, oral minoxidil is more effective for hair growth as it goes systemic and a large percentage of the population doesn’t respond to topical due to lack of enzymes in the skin. And overall, I wouldn’t mind hair all over my body although I’m primarily after facial hair including eyebrows.

I’ve only been on it for a week so no shedding yet (as of now atleast). I got mine from Alldaychemist.com

They seem to be the most reliable company out there for such products but it takes around 3 weeks to deliver the item.

I want to grow facial hair and brows as well as the hair on my head.

Minoxidil liquid/foam is also much more expensive for a year's supply and it sucks to apply every morning/night when you could just take a pill.

Though I still think that topical minoxidil gave me superior results.

I apply sunscreen with moisturizer after applying minox, if minox gets on my forehead I just remove it with towel. I used to apply minox 2x a day without moisturizer and my skin looked very wrinkly and dry I legit looked 10 years older
