Orbitals past cheekbones?

I have a friend whos infra orbitals seam to go past the cheekbone, or at least appears that way. (sorry cant provide pic) While my orbitals are neutral and my cheekbones jut out under them his seams to do the exact opposite where his orbitals seam to poke out and even cast a shadow onto his cheekbones. You might think he has very highset cheekbones which just look like orbitals, but i dont believe this to be the case because he lacks hollow cheeks, the bone does not go down towards the nose at all, does not apear like any other highset cheekbone indvidual because right under the orbital it cast a shadow around to lower nose portion instead of the jaw/hollow cheeks.

Is it just fatpads? anyone know what this is? Sorry i cant provide pics if you dont want to imagine it just ignore it.

Could be 3 things dont have enough info

The infra pad could be hypertrophic or displaced, which could overshadow the cheekbone, especially if the malar pad is atrophic or migrated downwards over time

The bony structure of the infra rim just naturally project further than the zygos this is normal in midface hypoplasia or not enough foreward projection of the maxilla

Could be infra edema if hes used any stressors like DNP b4


If the cheekbone only seems recessed compared to orb infras then its not only fat pads, the shadow pattern is skeletal

A CT is probably his next step
