bruh they already had the first version of the phones last year we dont have to guess you dont need to do shit just have the phone and projects start sending you their tokens, btw i already received more than 500$ worth of token airdrops by pre ordering the v2 phone so it paid for itself already and its not even airdrop season yet.

if i had to guess solana foundation has a ton of sol tokens to play with since the early days its like monopoly money to them, this grows the userbase and makes them first movers on the "crypto phones" market and for projects they get visibility once they airdrop to the solana phone holders everybody talks about them.
btw the solana phones were being resold for 4000$ each on ebay last year kek
