Calling people "racist" because they have a different opinion than you, is mentally ill reddit behavior.

Politicians have to do what they believe voters want in order to get re-elected and continue their career. If that means defunding the police and allowing rape and murder to go up, than it's that. If that means letting outsiders burn down the city then they have to do that as well.

The main problem with the woke mind virus was that any one who spoke out against it was censored, shadow banned, and perma-banned. That created a cooling effect where people were afraid to speak out against these ideas so they grew and grew.

Now that people can speak out against the virus's ideas on twitter and truth social, the insanity is has lost a lot of power. There's no need for physical violence when bad ideas can be fought with good ideas, without heavy censorship.

I understand that was the narrative at the time, but I don't think it was really happening.

I watched the footage many times and watched the entire trial. I think what happened was the Derek was afraid of the angry mob, and afraid of George getting a chance to try to break free and push both of them into on coming traffic.

The hold that they were doing was taught to them. I don't believe Derek was aware of the dangers of this hold. I don't think he was putting heavy pressure on George's neck.

But still it seems that a mixture of the drugs in George's system, combined with the weight of the officers putting pressure down on him, combined with the stress of the situation, resulted in his death. Remember he was saying he couldn't breath when he was alone in the police car. The drugs were already killing him.

George became addicted to pain killers after he was prescribed them for back pain. These drugs are deadly in heavy doses, and he was taking more than the recommended dosage. His mother had just died, which more than likely caused him to take a heavier than normal dosage of those drugs to cope. This is sad.

The police have to make constant life and death decisions and police are not necessarily the brightest bunch. Sometimes they also make decisions that result in deaths to prevent what they perceive as physical harm coming to themselves.

But there is no "police killing blacks" at a mass scale. Higher police presence results in less total deaths in black neighborhoods. This is because the biggest threat to black lives, is being murdered by other black people and the police are a deterrent to this.

But it can be tough when the media creates hate between police and black communities.
