Ortho won’t give me palate expander

I have a narrow palate due to mouth breathing until early teenager, and a wide ass tongue so when it’s resting on palate one side is half on my teeth, so only one side is pushing up on palate for the most part

I had braces a year or two ago, so my bite/berth are fine, but They won’t give me mse since my lower palate is same size, so expanding would apparently cause overbite

Should I just cope w/o expander or try to get one still

You'd have to pay a shit ton for it, tbh if your orthodonist says you dont need it and it could actually cause an overbite I'd listen because if you had a subhuman palate he'd know. just let puberty run its course you'll be fine

tell them u sleep and wake up with ur mouth open + ur tongue hurts when maintaining good tongue posture (that made my orthos give me a prescription for speech therapy and hopefully that will lead to MSE)
