Hi everyone. I am turning 17 in a month and I was wondering whether I should look into getting Some kind of expander like MSE, and then a facemask and or a herbst appliance. Im pretty sure my major bone growth is mostly done (I xrayed my hand at 15.7 years old and i had an advanced bone age with almost all the growth plates of my hand fused)

My goal is to achieve some counter clockwise rotation, a shorter midface and maybe a slightly longer mandible. In other words, I want forward growth, even just a few mm If possible.

It should be noted that i have a slightly deep bite, so when I bite with my molars my incisors dont align, making my mandible rest further back.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I also have a narrow 6-tooth smile, another reason why I want MSE

Am I not still In late puberty tho? I have actually grown a little since last year, like 4 - 5 cm in height.

using a ortho applicant when not actually put in place by a orthodontist is a waste of time and if you aren't getting scammed and sold cope plastic maybe you get 2mm of lateral maxilla growth but in reality you're expanding your palette in hopes of forward growth which is utterly close to nothing and end up with a disgusting tooth gap ruining your teenage years
get a genio or djs after and js enjoy ur teenage years

Oh sorry, I forgot to mention, I have a narrow smile. So maybe MSE aint that useless for my case

narrow smile or narrow palette?
keep in mind that this photo was taken in harsh lighting, so the premolars are barely visible in person. by the way my palate is 37 mm wide.
