I currently have crowded teeth and an overbite. Would I be able to get a palette expanded and some sort of braces to move my lower teeth forward rather than my upper teeth backwards? If so, what should I ask for?

I’m pretty recessed but it looks a lot worse due to my teeth alignment. When I move my lower teeth forward to match my upper teeth I look only slightly recessed.

if id assume u can get malocclusion class II. and if ur crowded teeth are that bad even MSE. = decent combo. or maybe even some sort of headgear for the malocclusion. how old r u?

If I can’t get my lower teeth pulled forward then yeah. However, if i’m able to then it will improve 10x as when I move my lower teeth forward manually it pretty much fixes it

please try to get MSE. and ask for some sort of head gear to not only push ur mandible foward. but ur maxilla too since a normal malocclusion class II. would push mandible forward and maxilla somewhat back and ur maxilla is already fucked.

MSE is a process for the teeth. since ur palate is very narrow. itll widen the alignment. for a better smile. bite etc, Damon braces will aligned those up and head Gear will improve and 100% align ur bite more since it pushes ur alignment, forward.

What you seek is called proclination of the mandibular incisors; they use aligners to push lower teeth forward.
Another solution is putting on herbst or twin block appliances. They can enhance ccw rotation and aid mandibular growth.
On top of that, you should definitely consider marpe, since you have narrow palate and low fwhr.
