Orthodontist vs Orthopedic??

I have a small pallet and a slight overbite (barely noticeable) and want to know my options for fixing this. I’ve heard orthodontist care less about facial aesthetics and would fuck my jaw gains over a “perfect smile” so would i be better off going to an orthopedic to ensure my facial gains are maximized?

some orthodontists are blackpilled but most will recess u

an orthopedic surgeon will fix ur bones... as in, a broken arm, not ur bite

I can’t get surgery bru not old enough and parents won’t trust it
