Depends on the reason why your ears are flared. If it is because you have no antithetical fold it can get pulled back a lot and look good. My issue is I have a deep conchal bowl so a big change would look super weird. I’ve attached an image of someone with a poor antithetical fold

Looks good. I'd still opt for a slightly longer cut though, one that goes over the ears a bit.
