About 6 hours post-op, i had an otoplasty, one ear complete reconstruction. So far minor pain because im so drugged up, but no blood and low amount of pain, im extremely excited to see the after results. I have a quick appt tomorrow morning where they will be reexamining the ear under the bandage but I believe all is well.

Nice

I’m getting otoplasty soon, my ears aren’t even noticeably sticking out, but bad enough that I would see improvements if I get the surgery.

How long did the procedure last for you, and was it under local or general anaesthetic?

About 3 hour operation, with general anesthesia, i wouldnt ever recommend going the local route, this surgery is extremely fragile and painful.

With local, you won’t feel it, plus I will be sedated, just not fully.
