•lowers testosterone
• reduces sperm count
• increases estrogen levels
• decreases luteinizing hormone (LH)
• reduces follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
• impairs testicular function
• increases cortisol levels
• reduces human growth hormone (HGH) secretion
• lowers dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels
• shrinks testicular size
• increases oxidative stress in the testes
• damages Leydig cells (testosterone-producing cells)
• impairs protein synthesis
• reduces muscle recovery speed
• decreases muscle glycogen storage
• slows reaction time
• reduces coordination and motor skills
• lowers dopamine production over time
• increases prolactin levels (which can suppress testosterone)
• causes fat gain (especially around the abdomen)
• promotes gynecomastia (man boobs)
• reduces deep sleep quality (affecting recovery and growth hormone)
• increases SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), which binds testosterone and makes it inactive
• decreases nitric oxide production (bad for blood flow and pumps)
• reduces red blood cell production
• increases inflammation throughout the body
• lowers zinc absorption (important for testosterone)
• depletes B vitamins (essential for energy and hormone function)
• raises estrogenic activity in the liver
• disrupts gut microbiome (which affects hormone balance)
• impairs liver function (which plays a role in hormone regulation)
• decreases cardiovascular fitness’s
• reduces endurance capacity
• lowers motivation and drive (due to dopamine effects)
• increases anxiety and depression risks
• worsens insulin sensitivity (leading to fat gain and metabolic issues)
• disrupts hydration and electrolyte balance
• impairs digestion and nutrient absorption
• weakens immune function
• accelerates aging by increasing free radicals
• decreases bone density (bad for long-term strength)
• increases risk of erectile dysfunction
• lowers libido over time
• increases triglycerides and bad cholesterol
• reduces sperm motility (ability to swim properly)
• increases risk of varicocele (swollen veins in the scrotum that reduce sperm production)
• impairs DNA integrity in sperm (leading to fertility issues)
• increases risk of depression-induced testosterone suppression
