Completely over if you don’t have wrists like these in 2020

Legit all you need wrist-wise is 6.8-7 inches. Massive wrists ruin your overall v-taper

This is where the blackpill make some delusion. No bitch cares if a high tier normie has small wrist as long as he hits all the other marks that actually matter.

Wrists directly don't matter but they are directly correlated with hand breadth, which does matter.

Over indeed. I have 6.5" wrists and it's difficult to lift over 40lb dumbells

as absurd as it may sound, wrists are actually extremely important.
wrists are obviously very indicative of your forearm bone thickness but on top of that even correlated to the thickness of your upper arm bone.
and bone mass is proportional to muscle mass by a ratio of 1:5, meaning if you got 1kg more bone, you put on 5kg more muscle. with bone thickness being more important, as people with longer bones tend to have shitty muscle insertions.

lets say someone has 7" wrists vs 8" wrists and 9" ancle vs 11" ancle - lets just assume that would equal to ~4kg added bone mass. that would mean 4kg * 5 = 20kg more muscle mass - HUGE.
