As repulsive as it looks, overbite is (usually) the emergence of a strong dominant maxilla being paired with a seemingly recessed/misaligned mandible.

I was wondering if this condition is always correlated to a bad forward growth since a lot of overbitecels do not manifest the typical recessed flat face.

lifefuel lower jaw is my only falio

overbitecels lets get the bimax then we can RELEASE THE BEAST BOYS

not really, most overbites are caused by reccesed mandible rather than prominent maxilla, with most overbitecels being reccesed maxillary as well

Negative grown faces tend to converge both the maxilla and the mandible in a high occlusion plane angle with a good occlusion (no bite class), hence why bimax is not passed by the insurance for this particular condition

its more complicated than possibly both jaws can be recessed and the upper is less recessed
