I have a small overbite my doctor tells me to wear elastics but I heard that its mess ups ur maxilla so what should I do?

hell nah, those elastics will ruin him even more than a little overbite, most of the times overbite is caused when teeth dont adapt well to maxilla or viceversa

Yep actually there is also herbst appliance its better than elastics but my doctor doesnt allow to use

I had a similar thing and I didn’t get braces and my maxilla and palate are insanely developed (40+mm palate lots of forward growth)

My mom told me a slight over bite was a sign of beauty (she was right overbite means overdeveloped maxilla)

Yes ur right overbite mostly causes when ur maxilla is too developed but still recessed chin makes me look 9
