has anyone had surgery with either and who do you think I should go to. Additionally, does anyone understand the difference between sillicone and peek for infraorbital implants and why eppley uses sillicone and giant/pagoni use PEEK?

Is it true that because peek cannot be made with feather edging it will look more unnatural than sillicone? and are there no higher risks of bone absorption with sillicone vs peek?

You know theres something called titanium right
Giant uses titanium with some cases

I think epply may use silicone cuz most surgeons do it and have been doing it for a while.
this is a complete assumption tho, I just don't see why else he would considering the downsides of using it

why eppley uses sillicone and giant/pagoni use PEEK
They use different materials because of their preferred insertion methods.

Dr. Pagnoni uses intra oral insertion (through a cut in the mouth), this is the superior method as it allows for using any material, only downside is the assumed increased risk of infection as its going into your bacteria riddled mouth before going into your face.

Eppley uses an incision in the eyelid, he can only use silicone due to its flexibility, allowing him to fit bigger implants into a smaller incision, which wouldn't work with rigid materials as theres no 'give'.

tl:dr pagnoni clears

pagnoni/giant might be the better choice but there's still risk involved

PEEK seems superior in many aspects, like physical properties/strength and health as having silicone in your body is not healthy lol
