Well, actually the invention is disputed by several people from India and Bangladesh too, who claimed they invented it first, when the air passes through the bottle and is funneled inside it supposedly cools down because it's compressed.

I dont really see how this would work. Air coolers work because they use a heat engine. You need to put in energy/work to separate the hot and cold source through either electricity or any other form of energy like hand labor. There isnt any work being put in so the temperature cant be separated that's a law of thermodynamics

I guess that logic works but then it would depend on if there is any wind is blowing outside of the house. like if you arent blowing anything out of your mouth there isnt any temperature difference its only if you blow. So if there isnt any wind blowing into the bottle then its just doing nothing except moving more hot air into the inside cuz of thermal equilibrium
