palate expander/braces at 15yrs old

help, getting braces and a palate expander on monday my palate is small to fit in all my teeth which is causing me crowding, midline deviation and lower third asymmetry my ortho said if the palate expander doesnt work enough he might have to do extractions (i wanna avoid them no matter what) is it possible to just do expansion and braces without extractions i dont want my upper jaw to move backwards its ruining my mental health help

You'll most likely need braces after anyways cause youll get a gap from the expander. What teeth would u have to get extracted?

premolars most likely not completely sure they also talked about removing my wisdom tooth i only have one right now
