idk i’m just thinking since a palate expander widens the upper jaw and pushes cheekbones further upwards and out, could it perhaps help canthal tilt to a degree or give an illusion of it being more positive. im getting one this friday after it being postponed for like ever and i wanna know its benefits other than just widening a palate

i saw a kid getting orthotropic treatment and his canthal tilt and scleral show was way better after(he was like 10 though). so it makes sense but i dont know about MSE. it widens the maxilla only horizontally. you might need upward projection other than horizontal for eyes. bump

Before and after MSE, became so asymmetrical that his nostril collapsed and he couldn't breathe out of it anymore

MSE is a descension tool it won't do shit

how exactly do you achieve vertical projection of the maxilla if the expander is only horizontal. will mewing achieve this once the palate can fit the toung.

it wont give you drastic results. especially if you are over 20

marpe+facemask said to give you plenty of forward projection but idk about vertical probably you need lefort
