Palate expander needed?

Throughout my journey of coping with my long midface, I've come across palate expanders, with a 58mm palate is it really worth it? especially at 17. I'd be fine with keeping it on for like 2+ years but I doubt it'll help at 17, pls prove me wrong and help me keep coping

58mm is already wider than the average palate.
An expander wont fix your long midface, for that youd mostlikely need surgery

long midface is not by Norrow maxila, just save up lefort

no doctor will do lefort for cosmetic reasons lol, 99% of the time it's to fix deformities

i measured it originally by INCLUDING my teeth

slice a flat thing out of a potato (raw potato) then bite on it with as much potato in my mouth as possible

measured the distance between both my molars
