I’m 16 and my orthodontist said I have extremely narrow palate but refuses to go ahead with a palate expander because “im 16 and it won’t work” is this bullshit I don’t wanna take any risks because once I’m older this shit is permanent

make up an excuse say that u cant breathe through nose very well or something its worth it. i got braces when i was 13 to 14 and it fixed me without me realising

I asked the orthodontist and she said it won’t work on me because I’m 16 and I’m too old. I guess it’s over for me palate expander was the one thing that could’ve made me a bit more attractive
