I’m getting a palate expander and braces soon I have like a 50-75% overbite I’m just wondering what palate expander should I get I have kind of a flat maxilla (it’s normal I would guess) and so I want to push it forward only problem is is that since I have an overbite there’s nothing they want to do to my face to pull my maxilla forward I hear there were some like FME but those require face mask I’ve already talked to my ortho about this and he said I don’t need it even when I insisted because of my overbite I also have sleep apnea due ti my enlarged adenoids I really should’ve gotten braces and palate expander earlier as I have narrow palate and is actually why I can’t really mew. I saw posts on here that I could get a free bimax with sleep apnea im wondering if it’s even worth it as if I fix it now I can actually mew and get better sleep as this is affecting is and therefore also my hgh levels and testosterone and I wouldn’t even be able to get bimax until I’m 18 since I don’t believe they do that operation until your plates are closed so I’m just wondering what I should do what I should ask my ortho etc.
