was in school reading articles and shi on palate expanders
and i came across an intresting one (ive lost it so you have to take my word for it)
the study was done on late teens like 19 year olds with a deviation of 5 years
they used different expanders: two groups: tooth borne and tissue borne
they both had very similar amounts of skeletal change but the tissue borne had less negative effects (like teeth tipping or something, i dont remember the study word for word)
thoughts?

(mse, marpe
c expander, hyrax)

In late teens, both tooth-borne and tissue-borne expanders produce similar skeletal changes, but tissue-borne types minimize dental side effects like tipping, highlighting their advantage for safer, more controlled maxillary expansion.

I found the article in Google scholar or pubmed (definitely one of the two)
I remember searching up palate expander or mse.
I bet it won't be hard to find, I remember it being the 2nd or 3rd search result
