Pallet Expander is cope

I had one from 11-13 and it of course made my midface wider and my cheekbones stick out more horizontally, but it does nothing for forward growth.
And now i have no harmony because i have a super wide mogger midface but a recessed lower third and no forward growth.
I honestly think it may have been better had I just been left with a small pallet, so it harmonized with the rest of my face.
Getting trimax in the future though to fix harmony, so maybe it will all work out in the end.

Of course it is. Pallet expander has nothing to do with lower third.
You can have a lower pallet expander but it doesnt actually expand anything bone-wise, since there are no sutures on your lower jaw, it just pushes your teeth apart, which can still give benefits, but yes,
My mandible is recessed.
It’s not short though. When I jutt, you can see it fully, it’s just retracted into my skull I.E: recessed.

If you had to choose one, forward growth is more important than a wide smile/wide pallet.
