To begin with we will start by throwing out a majority of the lightening copes.
Cope #1 Vitamin C
Vitamin C does inhibit tyrosinase but it is not strong enough for significant effects. After using it for years i can confirm it is a cope.
Cope #2 Gluthatione
Gluthatione isn't fully a cope, if you take it orally it is extreme cope but if you use IV drip into your bloodstream it can have some results. However it is pretty expensive and must be maintained.
Cope #3 Kojic Acid
Basically just a slightly better version of Vitamin C. Didn't work at all for me
Cope #4 Monobenzone
It doesn't lighten your skin unless you have vitilligo and even if it did you would look subhuman af
Honorary Cope Mentions: Alpha arbutin, Azelaic Acid Basically anything that Dr. Vannita Rattan promotes
used to watch this bitch and used all of her products she doesn't know what shes talking about
she is one of those cope "black empowerment" "love your original skin" copers. She doesn't know the sauce on what shit you need to do to actually lighten and the only reason she promotes this shit is because shes already lightskinned jfl. If she was fitzpatrick 5 and a male she would be on .org
Lighter skin looks better on black people my nigga
So how do we actually effectively and permanently/semi-permanently lighten skin
Lets understand how skin actually works
So theres a difference between melanin and melanocytes
melanocytes is basically what produces melanin aka the pigment in your skin.
If you destroy the melanin in your skin its just going to keep coming back after a few weeks even if you stay out of the sun. Especially if there is no deep treatment
So in order to effectively lighten skin you need a combination of
A) Destroying or Inhibitting Melanocytes
B) Destroying Melanin
C) Preventative Measures
D) Skin Resurfacing
So here is how you can accomplish all of these
1) Induce Mequinol
Mequinol works in two ways.
A) Inhibits Tyrosinase
Faster effects
B) Toxic to Melanocytes
Mequinol is toxic to melanocytes over time reducing their activity. If you use it for enough time your melanin wont return
so even if you stop using mequinol if you used it for long enough your pigmentation wont come back
"The patient described above stated that his facial pigmentation had not returned, though 2 patients stated that their melasma had returned to baseline levels."
"The end of treatment specimens showed a decrease in melanin pigmentation in both melanocytes and keratinocytes, and an increased lymphocytic infiltration, which ..."
From the same study:
So yeah mequinol is better than hydroquinone cause it actually has gradual effects which target the issue also you can order it online with no prescription from curries
make sure if you use this shit you apply to your whole skin evenly or you will have lighter areas
2) Pico Laser
Pico Lasers basically works in two ways
A) destroy the melanin directly
no tyrosinase inhibitting cope, it directly targets the melanin and zaps it away.
This also goes deeper than your top layers of skin so it will eliminate years and years of stubborn melanin buildup
B) slight melanocyte destruction
it slightly damages melanocytes. Typically they will recover after some time but some may be permanently damaged. If you ask your doctor for a deeper wavelength it can actively destroy melanocytes but you will have to be careful if you dont want to michael jacksonmax
this is mainly to target hyperpigmentation rather than actual lightening but this is still very important for the "clear skin effect"
3) Sunscreen
Obviously even if you do all of this pigmentation can return if you dont protect your skin whenever you are in the sun so make sure to use spf50 or above
you should be doing this regardless of whether you want your skin to be lighter though
you can also try IV Drip gluthatione but its unlikely to have any long term effects
anything else is cope and may have slight temporary effects at best
4) Resurfacing
Obviously just use tret or the cope version retinol
