parental delusion

I dont know what it is but both of my parents are very delusional when it comes to my looks.
ive recently tried talking to my father about jaw surgery (i have a really unsymetrical and deformed lower jaw, recessed maxilla and all that stuff right) (rn i have braces) but basically at some point i showed him some surgery results, and he pretty much said that those people pre-surgery were so ugly that they probably got bullied in school. The thing is I got bullied for the last 9 years(ofc i didnt say that). Then he goes on about how im good looking etc. The most brutal part about this whole bullshit is that this guy is better looking now even in his old age than i am + hes like 20cm taller than me, smarter than me, richer than me.(i dont even think im his son bc im lowk brown but thats something else...) Another example of this is when i was like in 2nd - 3rd grade i once told my mom that people were being mean to me and stuff, she said that their just jealous and that girls are attracted to me (even back then i knew that this is bullshit). But are your parents also like this?

Idk why i made this thread, probably bc i was bored, i should go to bed to get enough sleep but i think im gonna play some satisfactory rn
