We live in a world where medical intervention is accepted for all sorts of life-altering changes. Kids are allowed to transition genders, yet somehow, a boy being condemned to a suboptimal height by his short parents is just "natural" and "okay"? No. If science can prevent a disadvantage, it should be mandatory.
Height impacts every aspect of life—dating, confidence, career opportunities, social respect. A father under 6’0” or a mother under 5’6” who knowingly brings a son into this world without taking the necessary steps to maximize his genetic potential is effectively amputating his future.
Growth hormone therapy is available, and yet so many boys are left to suffer simply because their parents refuse to intervene. If a child can be given puberty blockers to align with their identity, why can’t they be given HGH to align with their optimal physical stature? We already recognize the importance of self-improvement—braces for teeth, Accutane for skin, gym for muscle—so why is this any different?
It's retarded my father focused on getting me braces at age 11 and not trying to get me to get GH.
Teeth can be fixed at any age but not height.
