I finished a PDO mono session for my nasolabial folds, 10 on each side, and 10 PDO screw patches for each undereye area. Currently, I have some serious bruising (blue )in both eyes, which is decreasing over time. I hope to see results; it had better work. How long did it take for you to notice results, and should I do another session as soon as possible?

In two days it's no longer swollen, but in real life it's still really blue; people ask me if I've been in a fight.

Looks like it’s healing well you got a before?

If I remember right tho I don’t think PDO threads last very long

I'm testing before using PCL, but before that I had a blue bubble filled with blood two days ago. I don't have a picture.

ignore people talking about photos u dont have shit to prove to them and they probably won't even offer you any advice when it comes pdo threads,

what you have going on is extremely normal with threads though, did you apply cold compresses after the procedure? Also was this a DIY or a visit? I will say though its uncommon for bruising to go past 5 days so if u still have bruising i'd go to a spa and ask about that.
Have u had any blanching along where you had the threads?

I did it myself and followed @Orc's threads. I put ice on it and it reduced the swelling quite a bit. How long did it take to see results, a few weeks? I don't know if that's enough, I'll do another session next week, I still have 20 PDO screws left.

without photos we cant help and OP is probably just larping (not this OP I mean others) :lul:

also PDO threads are basic knowledge

not bad but I wouldn't wanna be doing PDO threads every year I did 2 to try and make my eyes even more positively tilted and it lasted I swear a max of 2 months I think I have to do more then 2 tho

also shi was not fun to do

for me ive actually only used pdo threads for a nose tip lift, and the effect was instantaneous right after i finished it felt a bit uncomfortable for a lil bit but that was it, i used cog threads though which is a very strong lifting agent. I havent seen @Orc 's thread though so I have no clue what you're referring to. But you should have a general idea of the effects just a few days after, especially on your undereye area.

The main thing you want to worry about is blanching though, have u seen any of that on ur face? It's essentially just when you can see the nerves of your face extremely easily

I don't know what you're referring to with the bleaching, but where I had the injections, there was no color change except for blue and a little yellow. But generally speaking, I don't notice any white spots. @Orc has made 3 or 4 threads about PDOs; if you do a search, you'll find them. I'm surprised you saw results instantly; I'll definitely be reinjecting it in the coming weeks.

Are you serious? It takes half an hour tops for a duration of 6months -1 year, what more do you want?
Plus, if you do PLCs, it's more than a year.

did it actually work to make your eyes more poseitively tilted?

I thought that was cope, since PDO threads just boost collagen.

After two days, I still don't see any results, probably because of the color (yellow-blue), but I have poor support and slightly dark circles to begin with, so I just want to improve that. For it to work, it seems a bit far-fetched regarding positivity

Genuine question though, why did you choose PDO threads for your nasolabial folds instead of Aqualyx?

Aren’t those folds mostly caused by under-eye fat migrating downward?

Exactly, I've already done an Aqualyx session with no results, but I plan to alternate between PDO and Aqualyx; they seem to be the only solutions. Check out @Orc's threads.

No, I get what you’re saying, in your case I’m assuming you injected in the under-eye area to fix the dark circles (just the color).

But based on what @shneckmax said, I’m assuming he did it on the outer corners of his eyes instead, to get a better PCT

yea I did them on the outside took about 5 days to show but it worked not like drastically because I only did 2 but there was a result for 2 months at least

maybe a topical numbing cream like lidocaine or EMLA cream can make the whole session much easier.

But it's still scary asf knowing that you can hit a nerve and fuck everything up. :feelsrope:

@aids uses lidocaine for PDO injections; I think that works for him.

5 days, then around the 7th-10th day, no more swelling.
damnn, that's what discourages me from doing aqualyx, all that swelling and no visible results until only the 5/6th session.

yeah, that makes sense.

smth like EMLA cream is even stronger though, since it combines lidocaine and prilocaine, so it numbs the skin even deeper

takes ages for the effects for threads to show and they're very subtle

screws have bigger results right away but it's still not that obvious

How many injections do you have on average for your nasolabial folds these days? And under-eye fillers?

The nasolabial folds are one of the hardest things to fix Aqualyx doesn't work very well either. (Softmax)

aqualyx did more for me than the threads did I think but I'm not sure because the threads get better for months, I still see slight improvements from doing them to this day (since I mostly used PCL threads which last up to 3 years)

That's great, I'll continue alternating between the two. PCLs are a bit hard to find, unlike PDOs. Do you have a source?
