You've got that backwards. Almost anything made newer than 10 years ago is garbage, and the best cars were made from the 1990s to early 2010s. They generally had bigger engines, just the right amount of tech for reliability and comfort without being ridden with excess problematic tech and emissions bullshit from the government.

Heck many modern cars don't even have physical controls for the fan speed, ac, heat, and radio. Having to scroll through a screen for that while driving is a huge downgrade from having physical controls you know by heart. Some modern cars don't even have physical shifters and give you far less freedom.

I have a large pickup truck that's over 10 years old. It's nothing crazy, but it is 4 wheel drive with a sensible lift kit and has over 300 horsepower. Plenty for a daily driver and is very clean because I take care of my stuff. Not giving out more details than that here lol

Mid 2010s is when things really started to decline with car quality and excessive tech. But in the last few years it's gotten far worse.
