Forget protein meme bullshit. Testosterone levels, which impact your ability to put on muscle, are much better correlated with fat and carbohydrate consumption. Any protein in excess of 1g/lb bodyweight is likely a waste for you. Your standard bland bodybuilding-type diet is incredibly low fat - and therefore low test.


Even if you inject test, you still need some building blocks (fat in your diet, progressively harder resistance training) to trigger your body to put on muscle.
