if you can say something, even if it's not funny but it is the joke that the person you were talking to, where their mind would have went/ did go. But you say it first they are guaranteed to laugh alot.

Often I find you can just say things that accentuate the joke that the other person said and they will start cackling. People are so in love with themselves
