And when they try to break these loops they often think that rebranding themselves is the answer. But its really just the same thing with a different hat

My old oneitis is like this. Has glaring self esteem and attachment issues and has now rebranded herself as "the true authentic version of herself" pretending everything is perfect. When in reality its just another masquerade to conseal a hurting soul

Nothing is corny if its genuine. Its only crings if forced.

Its sticks with you for life. Thats the brutal part.

But its nice to know that I hit the nail on the head

A few hits with a hammer on the head would do the job. Fix her trauma

Most people with trauma are lost and dont have a stable personality

Noticed that. Theyre always switching up and changing around, desperately trying to find some form of valudation on their identity from others

So far ive never seen anyone really get out of it really

its just whenever i go through something traumatic i choose to ignore or conceal it instead of experiencing the consequences. whether its being made fun of at school or even someone close to me dying i never fully emotionally process it and its just more and more supressed bullshit as i get older.
and has now rebranded herself as "the true authentic version of herself"
i also do this shit a lot and my whole social life right now is miserable and is revolved around maintaining a respectable persona at uni which isnt even worth it because noone gaf

even when it comes to trauma i experienced due to the war in my country, im afraid of emotionally experiencing anything so i literally delete all the photos, block everyone i used to talk to and delete all traces of how things used to be

Yeah you only live for your hurt side and never actually enjoy life

Sorry if you have heard this a million times before, but have you ever tried just letting go?

its more like i never care about anything in the first place and automatically decide to supress it, probably damaging to mental health over time

Exactly this.

Everything that is done is done out of the NEED to cover up the bleeding wounds.

Its more about avoiding pain than approaching joy (rebranded version of your sentance)
