Honestly, I think collagen is one of the most important things to have. If you don't have collagen you aren't even considered human. It's one thing to have bad bones, but for your entire FACE to be shitty looking is the absolute worst thing. Nobody will make eye contact with you, nobody will like you, and I liked like this for 6 MONTHS. (minoxidil)

Finding out that peppermint oil does this too has made me say goodbye to my hair. Srs. Hair is absolutely important too, but I have no choice. Low collagen life truly sucks. I feel like I'm trapped, I just want to have perfect skin with a nw0-nw1 hairline. I would live life on high serotonin mode 24/7 if I did that.

You think it's because I'm using it after dermarolling? My skin really has gotten worse since I've started using it.

Idk. I've accidentally put peppermint oil on my face before and my collagen is great. Are you collagenmaxxing right now? The peppermint oil doesn't affect collagen at all and dermarolling is supposed to help the formation of collagen.

jfl if you think you can destroy collagen that simply.

I think peppermint and Minox inhibit collagen altogether, not just decrease it. If you put it on your face once it would make no difference. But if you use it every day and dermaroll every day like I am then obviously it will affect collagen.

And yes, I’m on retin-a, vitamin c serums, all that shit. It made no difference in my skin until I quit Minox. Now it’s gotten worse again since I’ve started peppermint. I’m just using it every other day now.

I don’t knlw how to tell you bud, but it does for me. I think it could be because I dermaroll too often. I will experiment more and see what works. I need to have perfect skin by the time school starts though.

Right now I used some shitty 0.5mm dermaroller. I'm getting the drpen soon but its taking forever to get here.

Are you diluting the peppermint oil with a carrier oil?

and you guys just believe this? is there any source for that claim?

Why would you ever put peppermint oil on your face?

Have you tried dermarolling and pumpkin seed oil?

Can you not just buy some collagen or injections

None of you guys understand. I have a deadline, I need perfect skin by August 12th. When I was on the peppermint oil my skin got worse and now that I'm off of it it's better. Both minoxidil and peppermint oil both inhibit certain chemicles required for collagen synthesis

Why that date lol

Why do you care what they think
You try going to school with aged, low collagen skin filled with acne. Everyone will treat you like shit. You can't go to school without socializing.

I give you best advice ITT (dermaroll) which you can get asap via the magic of Amazon.com.

And you totally quote it, but ignore me.

How sad!

I cry some more, you are almost as bad as the jb's today at pita.

I dermaroll too, and use retin-a 0.1% every day and vitamin C serums. My skin still looked like shit on minox and peppermint oil

Lol the minox also kills collagen last time I checked.

it's a trade off.

Exactly. YOu choose between skin or hair

I choose skin and that is the correct choice imo

Peppermint oil is an anti androgen and nice job necroposting almost year old post.

Stop flooding my inbox

Is there any truth to this? I'm using peppermint oil too but I might stop if it affects skin. (Sorry for necroposting)

Well, peppermint oil grows hair, and it is physically impossible to regrow hair without some sort of alteration to hormones/receptors so it is probably an anti androgen. And thus harms collagen.

Mind you with this post I applied undiluted peppermint oil after dermarolling so it went very systemic.

Yes, it looks like peppermint is an anti-androgen
