Yes obvs you have to have a reason to be confident. The more you've achieved the easier it is to convince yourself.

But regardless, irrational confidence > rational defeatism. It is better to inflate your sense of self worth because it is with this confidence that will push you into situations that help you grow as a person.

For example, a typical low self esteem user on this site may look at some 'blackpill data' that shows that the chance of approaching a very attractive women and getting her number is 1% and will conclude that there is no point. Whereas the deluded individual will approach the women regardless. Whatever comes of the interaction, the rational blackpiller is still a loser and hasn't gained any experience whilst the irrationally confident guy had a shot with an attractive girl but more importantly will have improved his skills at talking to attractive women.

A rational guy may look at stats that show that 99% of businesses fail in the first 7 years and conclude that it's not worth attempting whilst the overconfident guy will start a business and will learn from the experience which will make him better suited for his next attempt.

But I 100% agree that people should put themselves into positions that most people aren't willing to put themselves into and obtain skills that most people haven't got.

I help anyone who wants helping. The key to width is shoulders but more back than shoulders. Your shoulders can only get so wide and it's hard to pack literal necessary inches onto the delts but the back is the biggest muscle in your body so putting size on there shouldn't be too hard. Slam back and delts and you will look similar to me. I have narrow shoulders and wide hips, I always have, still do, and always will, but I can improve the way i look to the point where im strangely fucking MOGGING people, just because I wanted it more than them.

Working out is the easy part. You challenge yourself and go to war. You push yourself PAST your limit to make progress. You are trying to break your mind not your body. Your mind changes when you do with your body what your mind thinks it can't do. So your mindset changes after you do something you didn't even realize you could do. Suddenly you think you can take on the world.

Then you leave the gym and try something else with the same mentality. You do something you didn't think was even possible. You succeed. Pretty soon you fucking realize wait...EVERYTHING can be done with enough blood, sweat, tears. You can have ANYTHING you want.
