In the Journal of Law and Courts, a study in 2024 examined more than 1,000 federal cases in the US and over 3,000 judicial votes. The results of it showed that lawyers who were rated higher in terms of physical attractiveness won more cases and received more favorable votes from judges, even after accounting for other factors. A lawyer with a score of 3/10 (normie scale) has a 31% chance of winning against the government, but this increases to 49% for a lawyer with a score of 9/10 (also normie scale), which is a 6% increase for every two point increase in attractiveness. The difference is slightly larger for attractive women, especially when voting by male judges.
