If you don't have the passion however, it sucks the soul out of you. The studying for 5 years to eventually get your license, then government training ( how it works where I live ) with high work hours and stress, then additional exams and requirements to become a specialist which obviously isn't easy as well.

My uncle is rich though, guess it balances out.

It's not hard at all actually if you try, since your brain comes up with all sorts of tricks so it only takes a few minutes.

Problem is that this is one out of the many things they want you to know. Along with this you gotta learn membrane potentials of contractile cells, autorythmics cells, nerve impulses, how proteins break down, different types of proteins and their related method of diffusion to the intestinal epithelial cells, diagnosis and identification of random ass diseases and symptoms, karyotype for more identification of chromosome disorders, all endocrine glands and their related function, spermstogenesis, ooctyes, ovarian and uterine cycles etc.

This is just what I can list of the top of my head, plenty more. It's not that it's really hard or difficult, the scope is just way too big and not all of the stuff here is covered the same.

Karyotyping came out only for an MCQ question while Uterine cycle had a10 mark question where we had to explain in detail plus endocrinology.

Medicine doesn't require much intelligence, it's more work ethic and memorisation. Of course, you still gotta be atleast not braindead :ogre:

Become a maxillofacial or a plastic surgeon.

I imagine these forums might have actually convinced some people to enter plastic surgery. If I had better fine motor skills that's the career path I'd want to pursue.

Nah I am gonna drop out of med school, not for me.

I also hate "blackpill" culture so I haven't been inspired in the slightest to do this :feelscry:

Do you feel that O Chem will be the easiest of your exams? I feel at the very least, it is more pattern based and less brute memorization

I'm bad at o chem but I didn't study at all for it lol

But yeah the reactions and reagents all repeat for different functional groups, just gotta practice a bit
